We Had So much Christmas fun this year!
Taylon had a lot of fun helping put up the Christmas tree
he had been asking since the week before Thanksgiving so you
can imagine the joy he had helping out when the day finally came.
even though his facial expression say's other wise.

Addison liked to play around the tree. She loved the lights and
the pretty colors. She would tell me all the colors at least once a day.

For the first time ever we did a gingerbread house. We had so much fun.
The kids were so good at not making a mess. I have never seen kids
be so careful not to get the frosting on themselves.
The Finished Project

Here is a family Picture that was takin at the Johnson's
It really needs some help but I haven't figured that out yet.

Look at that Santa made it to our house.
I was surprised not to be woken at 5:00am
we actually got to sleep in until 8 ish.
That was great of the kids

Tay and Addi were very excited to see what Santa had brought.
They were so great not to just tear into everything but to take
turns opening so that we could all see what Santa had brought.

They were also great to help each other with the Family gifts.
They loved all the new toys.
Soon after opening our gifts we had my family over for some
yummy apple pancakes. We enjoyed some time together through the afternoon
then our little family headed to SLC to visit Bri's family and celebrate with them.
We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you all did as well.

What super little helpers they are (no frosting messes? Lucky you!!) I'm so glad you guys had a great Christmas. It was so fun chatting at the family party!
We did a gingerbread house this year too. Lots of fun. Yours looks much much neater than ours though. :) After Christmas we also made gingerbread man cookies with refrigerated cookie dough. I decided that's the way to do it from now on. It's a lot of work to make the dough, let the kids cut out cookies & bake them, but when Pillsbury makes the dough I can handle the rest. I've always shied away from store bought cookie dough because I know I can do it from scratch, but if I never do it I might as well buy the pre-made dough and still have the fun part to do with my kids, right?
