I forgot I had a blog.... So here is what's new at our house, Addi turned 4, Taylon got his first black eye by running into a desk at school and no one could be happier about the warm weather!
It has been a very long winter and I could not be happier that I can send the kids outside to play in the sunshine. I also am thankful that that wears them out and they actually go to sleep at night which means that I get some much needed mommy time.
I have finally got on some Meds that help with  the migraines but, I have noticed I am loosing my eye brows.
I'm not sure which is worse Migraines or no eyebrows?
I am getting ready to run my first 5k in June. I still have not decided how I feel about it. I am slowly learning to like running.
I hope you all enjoy this great spring weather!

New Years

What a fun New Years! I hope that this is an indication of the year because we had so much fun.
On New Years Eve we went to Trafalga in Lehi with some great friends for some mini golf and laser tag and rock climbing (which Taylon and I did pretty good at)
After words we picked up some yummy Mexican food at Costa Vida's then some fun with boardgames where we actually all won one game. ( usually only Brian wins  )
Then off to toasting and a little Rock Band to bring in the New Year.

On New years day we took the kids sledding. I think this might just be a new tradition.
The kids had a BLAST!! they didn't want to go home.
Then I was able to go out Shopping with my friend with no kids. This NEVER happens
Then we all just relaxed and spent time together.

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas this year and Brian and I had so much fun watching the kids open their gifts.

It was priceless to see the faces of two happy kids and way too many toys. Addi's favorite was her
new barbie car. She had been waiting for this moment far too long.

Taylon was most excited for his How to train your dragon movie and was jumping up and down after he opened it giving dad a giant hug and thanking him.

Addi was so cute. She would open her gift toss it behind her and wait for the next. After everything was cleaned up she was opening and trying everything. She had all her gifts out of the box and somewhere on the floor before I had breakfast made.
Taylon was just excited that dad had got him the red Wii and waited for him to set it up to play.

Brian and I had my family and some neighbors over for Christmas breakfast with Apple pancakes and Apple Cider Syrup a Family tradition for Brian's family.  After breakfast we played games and talked about all that had happened in the year.
We hope you all had a great Christmas too!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween and we hope you all did as well.  One of my favorite things about Halloween is
carving the pumpkins! I don't know why, I just think its fun and I know the kids love to do it too.

Addi was such a big girl wanting to do it all by herself. She is my little Mrs Independent!
Taylon LOVES carving pumpkins. He will always ask through out the year about doing this. And he is so creative with it.
Brian does not like carving pumpkins much, but he knows the kids and I do so he puts on a happy face and dives in with us.
Trick or Treat Photo's to come!

Really?

Today Addi and I went to the store and they were getting out the Halloween stuff!
I could not believe it. It's two months away.

Also how old am I? My little boy started 1st grade yesterday. I can't believe how old he is. So far he has loved it. I think really its just that he loves to be able to eat school lunch and play on the big kid play ground.
He came home so happy yesterday. Which of course made me so happy.

When Taylon was gone Addi lost it. yelling " I want to go to school! I don't want to play a game. I want to go to school with Taylon"  All while throwing all her toys around the room. I let her have her moment and that got to explain that her and I would have lots of fun while Tay was at school.

Addi and I don't really know what to do without him home but I'm sure we will come up with some kind of routine. So far we have been super busy. But I'm sure soon enough there will be lots of playing, cleaning, and just hanging out.
