The Best Cookies Ever!!!!

Has anyone been to a Paradise Bakery? Oh well if there is one near you I say go in for the cookies.
I had heard about the place so with out husband or kids I went in. I had a chicken walnut sand which, ( it was good but not worth the 6.00) A salad with I loved ( but really it was just lettuce, cucumber,cranberries , carrots, cabbage, ranch) And a Amazing Cookie and it was just a chocolate chip cookie. I loved it. So I decided to search the Internet to see if I could find the recipe...
Well I think I got close because the cookies I made are now my favorites. I also thought I should share the joy to who ever else might need a little pick me up.

1/2 C Rolled oats
2 1/4 C Flour
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 C Butter, softened
3/4 C brown Sugar
3/4 Sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
2 Eggs
3 C chocolate chips
1 1/2 chopped walnuts
grind oat in food processor until fine. combine oats, flour, soda,salt, cinnamon in bowl.
Cream Butter,sugars, vanilla, lemon juice with an electric mixer. Add egg& mix until smooth.
mix in dry ingredients. add chocolate chips & nuts by hand . spoon on to ungreased cookie sheet.
bake 16-18 min or light brown.
If you want them to stay softer longer, Place dough in fridge overnight or in freezer for a few hrs.
